I have been coming here for over 10 years. Great prices, Danny gives me a heads up of what I will need to do to maintain my car in the next year so it doesn't come as a shock to me when, say, I need to replace my brake pads. All around a great place with great customer service.

I’ve been coming to this auto shop for the last 3 years and have always received excellent service on my Subaru Outback, without fail. The owner Danny has always made time for me, even when he had a lot on his plate, and consistently charged very good prices. Even when I lived in Reno, I would get my car serviced here whenever I visited the Bay as the service and prices were so good. If you’re looking for a great mechanic, this place is for you.

I have been going to this repair shop for over a decade. They are honest and trustworthy. My 2008 Honda has had all minor and major services done here. It’s still going strong. Thanks guys.

Danny and BAAR have been great in taking care of my car and giving advice and help when I've had an issue. I think Danny and his crew are extraordinarily honest and fair in their pricing. I highly recommend BAAR!!!

I have been a long time customer here. Recently brought my 2017 Volt in for a second opinion and estimate after a local dealer quoted almost $4k to replace shocks and fix an oil sensor leak. Danny estimated about half that cost and said the oil leak was not urgent and the shocks should last a little longer if I did not want to repair it right away. This is why I go here and give them 5 stars!

I drove my car 2,000 plus miles from Minnesota in two days. I turned it off and when I tried turning it on it wouldn’t start. I read so many reviews from different auto mechanic shops nearby and I decided to choose Bay Area Auto Repair because it had good reviews. The one thing I was worried was that they would tell me I had multiple things to fix and dishonesty. But Danny, the owner, was quick with telling me it was just the battery that needed to be replaced and didn’t oversell me anything else. He even showed me the diagnostic tool he used to verify it was the battery that needed replacement. They ordered the battery that my Kia 2013 needed. I left my car with him at 1pm and by 5:30, the same day, the job was done! I only paid $170 for everything. Overall, I had a good experience and will come back again in the future for my auto mechanic needs.
